Hi there! I’m sharing my artwork tutorials for the new Procreate Gold Threads Vol. 3 brushes in this blog post. I made a Silver Tinsel Sweater and a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird embroidery for the sample works. I hope you enjoy these video tutorials!
This new Gold Threads Brush Vol.3 pack has some very exciting and realistic textures which make it really fun to use. There are metallic fibers that can be used to create fluffy embroidery, accessories, garments etc. There are also many beautiful laces, embroidery stitching and yarns. Check it out in my shop.
Silver Tinsel Sweater
I made a real time painting video tutorial for this one so that you can see how the texture got built up. You can use the colors from the color palettes provided with the product file.
Humming Bird Embroidery
This is a “slow down” time lapse recording from Procreate painting. I used a sample photo for a visual reference purpose only. So that you can try different things on your own with the Gold Thread brushes in this pack. In general, the metallic brush can create over brightness when they are overlapped in the same layer. I highly recommend that you create multiple layers while painting. All the colors used in this tutorial are from the color palettes in the product file.
